Kurtz Mann Inc. was founded as a creative consulting firm in 1982. Over the years, we have developed a unique and ingenious approach to the design and decoration of interior spaces. From the finely detailed and highly technical concerns of paint, and the finish of surfaces, to the orchestration of total environments, we have always shown technical mastery and innovative brilliance.

The same people that have been working with you under the name of Kurtz Mann Inc have created a new corporate identity known as Lining Arts Inc. We are excited to move forward with a fresh name - a name that reflects the diverse facets of our trade and highlights the creative artistry that is the heart of our business. We have been in the business of special finishes and mural work for over 20 years and it's the right time for a change.

The principal of Lining Arts Inc. is Wayne Mann, the founding partner of Kurtz Mann Inc. Carey Thorpe has been associated with Wayne for ten years and will continue in her position as Operations Manager with Lining Arts. Both Ray Olthof and Ashley Thomas have been with the company for over seven years and will move forward in their roles as Production Managers.

Lining Arts works with developers, architects, interior designers, corporations, or individuals, to design and realize visually compelling solutions for any space, of any purpose. From boudoirs to boardrooms, furniture to foyers, or restaurants to retail, no problem has been too small, no space too large, and no challenge to daunting for the creative team at Lining Arts.

Lining Arts can attribute its long-term success to customer relations, as much of our work has come to us by referral, or repeat business. We understand implicitly that the job does not end when the furniture is delivered, and the paint is dry. A comprehensive follow-up and maintenance program is tailored to each project, ensuring the long-term integrity of design and materials, and ultimate client satisfaction.

CUSTOM FINISHES: Lining Arts is internationally recognized as a paint and finish specialist. We have applied our custom finishes to every imaginable interior surface. Our innovative designs cover or complement stone, steel, glass, or plaster.

MURALS: We have designed and executed murals up to 250' long. Our artists are highly skilled and experienced and are capable of creating design either highly realistic or completely abstract.

SCULPTURE: We design sculpture for specific sites. They can serve as decorative objects hiding or disguising equipment or facilities, or fully independent works of art.

FURNITURE: We can custom build furniture for specific sites, or decorate existing pieces with special finishes, or designs. We specialize in hand painted screens for use as room dividers or design accents.

ENVIRONMENTS: The range and depth of our talents and experience can be seen when applied to the creation of a total environment. We are able to assist in the integration of colour, design, and furnishings to serve the demands of the space, and the needs of the client.
